The Rotary Club International is a Global Network of more than 1.2 million members united to work towards creating a better life for all, through services, education, aid, and leadership. After presenting the current state of underage drinking, the board has graciously extended an invitation to German Angel to join the board as member.
In a previous presentation, German Angel was invited by the Rotary Club Colombo American President, Mr. Walter, to share with the members of the club information about our Foundation. After Mr. Angel's presentation, the Board of Director from the Rotary Club noted that he found our initiative very powerful on behalf of our youth.
The Angel Saving Lives Foundation's mission is to develop programs to prevent underage drinking of alcohol and to implement early intervention strategies to reduce the impact of underage drinking among America's youth.
Every day, we hear on the news, social media, at work or at school, stories about drunk minors who have been taken to the Emergency Room due to the negative effects of alcohol. Some of them arrive so intoxicated that unfortunately; they don't make it. Dying too young.
"Today, nearly 10.8 million youth, ages 12 -20 are underage drinkers". Sadly, this realization is a normal episode of every day life in our society.

Mr. German Angel, an Independent Producer for Public Television in the United States, a Host for Enfoque Social and Prevention TV shows, as well as the President of The Angel Saving Lives Foundation, became a Rotarian on Tuesday, October 5, 2019.
The Angel Saving Lives Foundation – TASLF, through the leadership of Mr. Angel, will work with the Rotary Club Colombo American towards the prevention of underage drinking.
